All-on-4 and All-on-X dental implants.
If you are missing most or all of the teeth in one jaw, you do not need an implant for every tooth. All-on-4 places a complete arch of fixed teeth on just four implants; All-on-X is the same principle with the number of implants — usually four to six — chosen to suit your bone and your bite.
The new teeth are screwed to the implants rather than resting on the gum, so they do not move, do not come out at night, and let you eat normally again. At A M Dental every full-arch case is planned digitally and restored on Straumann or Dentium implants.

Implant Placement
Under local anaesthetic, the titanium post is placed into your jawbone through a guided, minimally invasive procedure that most patients find far easier than expected.
Healing and Bonding
Over the next few months the implant fuses with your bone in a process called osseointegration, creating a strong, stable foundation for your new tooth.
Fitting the Crown
Once healing is complete, we take a fresh impression and attach your custom-made crown, checking the bite and shade until it blends seamlessly with your smile.

The placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Most patients describe the following days as mild soreness, easily managed with simple painkillers.
From placement to final crown usually takes three to six months, as we allow proper time for the implant to bond with your bone. The wait is what makes the result so durable.
With good brushing, flossing and regular check-ups, implants can last many years and often a lifetime. The crown on top may occasionally need replacing over time.
That is common and usually solvable. We may recommend a bone graft to build up the area first, then place the implant once it has healed.
